Project Y


Ingleburn RSL ClubProject Y has been funded by the Ingleburn RSL Club via their Community Development Support Expenditure Scheme. Project Y includes a YouTube Film Competition as well as a Local Promotional Campaign. Both facets of this project are focused at reducing alcohol related crime and high risk consumption of alcohol in the; Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly LGA's of NSW.

Project Summary

The key aims of Project Y are to decrease the incidence of alcohol related harm and crime through education, awareness and responsibility of young people aged 15 - 25 years of age.

The Project Y YouTube Film Competition winner was announced earlier this year. Youth Solutions are  discussing how to use this YouTube clip as a health promotion tool in the local area.

The Project Y Technology and Social Media Workshop was held on 26 September 2011 where 38 community service workers, business people and young people attended engaging with issues surrounding technology and social media. This workshop was presented by Mark Ferry, the Business Development Manager of the Ted Noffs Foundation.
