Midnight Basketball
Midnight Basketball is an initiative between Campbelltown City Council, Sector Connect, Uniting Care Burnside, YMCA, Macquarie Fields Police, Youth Off The Streets, Communities Sport and Recreation, Claymore Youth Centre and Youth Solutions.
Midnight Basketball is designed to provide a catalyst for the positive transformation of youth within targeted communities by providing young people with an opportunity to engage in sport, have access to positive role models and youth workers and to educate young people on a variety of youth related issues of concern through workshops.
Youth Solutions has been involved in this project since 2009 and have facilitated workshops in Tournaments 2, 3 and 4, we have taken the lead role in organising all life skills workshops and attended every night the program has run.
