Strengthening Parents - Camden and Wollondilly
Funded by the Australian Government National Illicit Drug Strategy under their Community Partnerships Initiative. Involves linking parents, community members, services and utimately young people.

The project will involve a range of strategies that will assist in increasing parents' capacity to effectively deal with the issue of youth drug use.
Project Aims
- Well coordinated project
- An increase in the knowledge of alcohol and other drug issues by parents and carers in the Wollondilly and Camden region
- An increase in the knowledge of alcohol and other drug services by parents and carers
- Increase the opportunity for parents to discuss alcohol and other drug issues with their children and other parents
- Increased awareness and implementation of parenting strategies to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug related harms among young people
- Increased access to relevant information
