Fundraising Priorities

Like most charities, Youth Solutions continually tries to balance the demand placed on the Service with our current level of physical and financial resources. With the support of businesses and members of our community, we hope to:

• Employ additional project staff, to meet the current demands of our expanding community, ie approximately 50 000 families in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions, over 50 000 young people 12-24 years and 33 high schools
• Have a greater capacity to support schools to develop a whole school approach to prevent and reduce youth drug use
• Support families to engage with their children as well as to increase parents skills and confidence in dealing with a range of issues including alcohol and drug use
• Increase the communities capacity to deal with alcohol and drug issues
• Raise the awareness through access to our Service
• Increase the number of people that engage with the Service via the website
• Increase the capacity of the website to provide a greater range of information relevant to parents young people and the community

Fundraising Activities

Youth Solutions undertakes a number of fundraising activities in an effort to involve the entire community in our services as well as raise funds to implement our fundraising priorities.

Our major fundraising activities include the Annual Charity Event and the Annual Golf Day.
