Youth Solutions received funding through the Australian Governments National Illicit Drug Strategy under their Community Partnerships Initiative, to run a social marketing prevention and education campaign around the issues of cannabis use by young people 15 - 18 years living in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions.
This project was a partnership with the Rotary Club of Narellan. The project aimed to increased young people's connectedness to their school, their family and the community in which they live, work or recreate.
Youth Solutions received funding from Wests League Club, Campbelltown through the Community Development Expenditure Scheme (CDSE) to run the School Solutions Project.
The Parent Links Project aims to do just as it title suggests - link parents, community members and services and ultimately young people, to address youth drug issues with a focus on alcohol.
This report will provide interested parties with an outline of the process used in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Thrive – Macarthur Youth Safer Celebration Summit. It is intended to be a guide that may be used as future reference for parties wishing to duplicate the process, as well as a source of information for those interested in the issue of young people and safer celebrating.
The On Track Youth Leadership Project "Party Hard Think Safe" was a fourteen month youth participation project funded by The Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) and Youth Solutions, a non-government youth drug prevention service located in Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia.
This report will provide an outline of the process used in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Tackling the Issues – Macarthur Youth Drug Forum, as well as discussing project outcomes.
The Wingecarribee Shire covers 27,000 square kilometres with a total population of approximately 40,839. Approximately one-hours drive south-west of Sydney, the Wingecarribee Region is a diverse community embracing rural through to urban living.

This two day training program focused on providing six young women,16 - 18 years from the Macarthur area, with knowledge on how to present and best represent themselves for interviews particularly in the hair & beauty industry. The program also focused on personal safety issues and solutions.
